Royal Canadian Navy[edit]

Regarding this revert: “Royal Canadian Navy” was the name of the service until unification in 1968, so RCN I think is the appropriate name to use in describing events in 1967. Indefatigable (talk) 21:15, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I fixed my revert back to what you had done. You are correct. I got the date the ensign changed mixed up with the date it became MARCOM. Sorry bout that. Llammakey (talk) 21:46, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Name incorrect - Should be USS Douglass H. Fox[edit]

Hello. Can anyone help me confirm the name of this ship, the USS Douglass H. Fox. While researching a ship's bell clock I have found old 1940-1950's articles and photos referencing both the man and the ship with Douglass spelled with two 'S'. Curious if this was a case of spell check gone bad. Just looking to make things right for the man and men that served on the ship. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.140.21.236 (talk) 14:17, 20 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
