"D-Day"?[edit]

Something doesn't make sense here. The text describes what the carrier was doing on "D-Day" off the "invasion beach," yet other text says that it was nowhere near the Normandy coast, where the landings traditionally labeled "D-Day" occurred. Presumably the term was referring to the opening day of some other campaign -- Dragoon? Somebody who knows the actual story should fix this; for now I have de-linked the obviously incorrect wikilink to the D-Day article. -- Bill-on-the-Hill (talk) 01:51, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
