Ferdinand Marcos[edit]

Marcos was deposed by a popular uprising in February 1986 and had fled to Hawaii. See People Power Revolution. So he couldn't have sheltered Proksch in his presidential palace in 1988. SpeakFree 23:06, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

Doesn't make sense[edit]

I don't get it. The ship was discovered in 1991, and evidence of the explosion was found, yet Proksch fled in 1988 when a book was written about the fraud? Is this saying that he got away with it, but someone investigated and wrote a book about it, saying that he suspected fraud, so Proksch fled fearing official action? When you are first reading it, it makes it sound like no-one suspected anything until a man happened to find the ship and saw that it had been time-bombed. Can't we make this clearer in the text, that he intentionally set out to prove or disprove the allegations in the book, not that he was the man who uncovered what was previously supposed to be a real accident? I mean, he even returned and was arrested before the ship was ever found. Can't we make it clearer that he was already uncovered, and the guy finding the ship was just the final nail in the coffin when it happened? Starting the whole thing out by saying "the ship was found and it was discovered a time bomb had been used to sink it" before saying anything else gives te wrong impression. Date format of article[edit]

Hello,

This article is about an Austrian person, so I changed the date format to DMY. There was a tag indicating to use MDY, but I'm not sure why that was the case. Presumably because that's the date format the article initially used? However, I think the article not being about an American subject should override that.
