Untitled[edit]

It seems to me that the article on the Lunatic Express (which was never a term in common use) could well be deleted and the factual information incorporated in this article. I have commented on the Uganda Railway in the talk pages on Nairobi and Great Rift Valley. (It is sometimes difficult to know where to put information based on personal experience. Strange claim[edit]

"The company extended its steamer service with a route across Lake Kyoga and down the Victoria Nile to Pakwach at the head of the Albert Nile."

If the terminology in this statement is checked, it would appear that these paddle-steamers travelled over the Murchison Falls, which seems doubtful.Eregli bob (talk) 12:12, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Coolies?[edit]

The articles refers to Indian labourers as coolies. This is not my specialism, so I won't edit anything, but is that really the correct term? SnoopyStudent (talk) 14:40, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
