ulnar nerve[edit]

In June 2009, I was in a car accident and broke my right ulnar side of my hand. My little and ring finger has been in servere pain going up into my wrist. Can the swelling I had for 3 monthsin my hand cause ulnar nerve damage? Please respond I have been getting doctors telling me yes, but on my records it is not stated as just.
