Neutron lifetime summary is out of date[edit]

The neutron lifetime experimental status is currently out of date. A more current experimental summary can be found in http://pdg.lbl.gov/2016/listings/rpp2016-list-n.pdf. In the current review, the Serebrov measurement is included in the average. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.7.224.8 (talk) 20:16, 28 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Neutron Lifetime is the Almost Right Word[edit]

There is no scientific basis for talking about an average "neutron lifetime" ... it is known as the mean lifetime and should be differentiated from the neutron half-life.

It needs to be cleaned up to reduce confusion. I like to saw logs! (talk) 23:38, 28 September 2009 (UTC) How are ultra cold neutrons measured/detected? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.162.179.194 (talk) 05:50, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
