Why a redirect to Oceanography?[edit]

AnakngAraw, can you explain why you chose oceanography as a target for this redirect? · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 04:15, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As the above editor has not contributed for 8 years, I am not really expecting a reply, but you never know. My point is that it does not seem to be a good redirect target for this concept, but may have been the best available at the time. Underwater exploration should be a topic worthy of an independent article. If I can find suitable sources I will create it. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 06:12, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Above is no longer relevant, as this page is now an article. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 08:01, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Scope[edit]

The scope should probably include exploration by underwater divers, exploration by remote sensing and everything in between. The first task will be to find a suitable definition for exploration. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 06:12, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is a high level article and should not go into much detail. Where possible main articles and/or see-also sections should be linked and summary sections provided.· · · Peter Southwood (talk): 08:01, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Inserted "Marine Discoveries"[edit]

The vision of this section, is to have some unique animals/creatures that were discovered. I felt that this section was needed and I am looking forward to people expanding on this. Devin Bender (talk) 21:40, 3 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
