Trainwreck[edit]

I don’t think “Trainwreck” is a single and here's why. It wasn’t sent to any radio stations and it wasn’t promoted like her previous singles ("Psycho", "Sad Bitch", "Unhealthy"), just one post on Instagram and nothing since. It doesn't have a music video and what's more, it wasn't uploaded to her YouTube channel at all (which I think is a very important point - if it was a single, why wouldn't they upload at least an audio/lyrics video to her channel?). If you look closely at her previous albums, you'll see that for both of them she released a promotional single ("Peak", "Beautiful") and it was exactly as with this one - no promo, no radio play, no artwork. On her IG post, Anne-Marie refers to "Trainwreck" as a 'track', not a 'single', and says 'I just couldn't wait to give you a cheeky song off Unhealthy' - seems like a promo single that has to keep the excitement among fans and not an actual single. I'm open for discussion.

Hey. It can be a bit tricky to tell the difference these days. Ha.

i think it is a single. The NME article refers to it as a single.

Thank's for the response. And yeah, it's very tricky. I still feel like this is a promo single due to this limited availability on some streaming platforms. The Australian radio is a good point, though we don't know if it was added to big radio stations ot just local ones (my local radio add such songs all the time).
