German or Russian[edit]

Could someone please supply a citation for the origins, rather than just reverting each other? jmcw (talk) 19:59, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A complete history of unifight was written by Prof. Anton MURARU (see references). This form of training was developped by german army. Prof. Anton MURARU is the founder of Romanian Judo Federation, actually member of European Olympic Committee. In Romania, special forces used to train and check in this system since 1940. By the way, you will see (please check the history) that EVEN the first president of FIAU (International Unifight Federation), Serhiy Novikov Ukrainian judoka, becomes ... russian. No comment ... --Simone Nicolescot (talk) 19:52, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

English language sources[edit]

This sport seems centered outside the English speaking world and therefore has not generated much English language media. Unifight has a multi-year history, much international activity and much media outside the English language bubble. I feel the 'disputed' tag is valid until a reputable, English language source can be found. jmcw (talk) 09:45, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
