The Hills themselves and their names[edit]

I actually came upon this page hoping to find out the origins of the toponym "Novelty Hill", but the thoroughly sanitized statistics and post-2000 information on the page is useless in that regard. I would welcome some information about how "Novelty Hill" got its name. "Union Hill", too, though that's of less interest to me, and is a much less "novel" name for a hill or other place, though it might be of interest to know whether the reference is to the Northern States in the Civil War of 1861-65, or to the labor-union movement, or something else. --Haruo (talk) 18:43, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
