Ranks allowed[edit]

According to the obituary of J.W. Dunne he was a Lietuenant, temporarily made Captain, yet he was a member of the United Service Club. This contradicts the statement in the article that one had to be a major or above to be eligible. Dunne's father was General Sir John Hart Dunne, which may or may not shed light on where this article is going wrong. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 18:14, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
