Capitalization[edit]

Stop reverting my changes to correct the article's capitalization. The correct style is all-caps. e.g. http://www.marines.mil/unit/marforpac/Pages/welcome.aspx http://www.marines.mil/unit/marforpac/Pages/mfp/about.aspx

There are some inconsistencies (for example, the title on our about page incorrectly uses CamelCase). Regardless, the correct format is all-caps. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shadowfury13 (talkcontribs) 10:04, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That is incorrect. Proper military abbreviations are not to be all caps unless the usage permits, such as a naval message or other format where mixed-case is not appropriate. For normal usage, the Marine Corps is supposed to eschew all caps (excepting acronyms, of course). This is also in line with the Manual of Style. bahamut0013wordsdeeds 16:14, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
