The result of the proposal was move per request. Barring the manifestly improper, moving is the default for requested moves even with little or no participation since boldness allows moves without discussion, prevented here by a technical limitation.

Requested move[edit]

Should be moved to United States at the Rugby World Cup, to avoid unnecessary "The" at the start of the article title - see Wikipedia:Naming conventions (definite and indefinite articles at beginning of name), and examples like United States at the 2008 Summer Olympics.—sjorford++ 13:53, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What discussion? I only see one name on this?! Typical wikipedia... It's grammatical nonsense - do people say, "I'm going to United States" or "I'm going to the United States"? Or "Obama is president of United States" or "president of the United States"? There's a case for moving all the other pages - or should I say "there's case for moving all other pages"?!. --MacRusgail (talk) 17:22, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
