Intention to make major revisions to page[edit]

I am announcing my intentions and wanted to ensure there were no objections to a major revision of the California State University, Northridge's Oviatt Library Wikipedia entry. The information as it is right now has been fairly stagnant, and most of it is out of date. I intend a major overworking of the site, especially to address the “written like an advertisement” tag present on the article now. I worked on the University Archives’ Fifty and Fabulous virtual exhibition during the 50th anniversary of the university. I have access to historical and cultural information about the library that would improve the structure and veracity of the article and ensure reliable citations to back up its content. If there are any concerns about this, I am more than willing to discuss it before I make any major revisions. I will not make any major changes immediately, but anticipate to do so if there are no concerns. --DMorck (talk) 22:05, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio?[edit]

This appears to be lifted from http://library.csun.edu/About_the_Library/ovhist.html .--NapoliRoma (talk) 06:08, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Shooting location section[edit]

Having watched the filming of episodes of Battlestar Galactica and McMillan & Wife in front of the Oviatt Library while I was attending CSUN, and recognizing it as a shooting location in many shows and films since then, I decided to add a section on filming locations. However, it needs to be expanded. Primogen (talk) 22:04, 4 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Change Article Title[edit]

The University Library of California State University Northridge is no longer called the Oviatt Library (as documented in the text). The title of the Wikipedia entry needs to be changed to reflect that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LauraHW (talkcontribs) 18:50, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
