History of medical education in Liverpool[edit]

I'm an alumni of Liverpool Medical school with an interest in history of medicine. There are a few inaccuracies in this article e.g. date of establishment. Also a lot more can be said about the Medical school's rich history, role in formation of university college and links to the medical student debating society. I'd also like to see more mention of prominent staff who were connected, but not alumni e.g. Dr Richard Formby (founder of Liverpool Royal Institution School of Medicine ) and many of the school's professors such as Dr Richard Caton who were presidents of the Liverpool Medical Institution.EstherCole (talk) 00:52, 7 February 2017 (UTC) EstherCole (talk) 00:52, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notable alumni[edit]

I've just noticed this says Charles Sherrington was a notable alumni. Unfortunately he wasn'the. A glance at his wiki page says he graduated from Cambridge. He did however play a prominent role in Liverpool as Professor of Physiology and made important research contributions.EstherCole (talk) 00:59, 7 February 2017 (UTC) EstherCole (talk) 00:59, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
