I realize this article is a bit sloppy. I plan to be working on it over a length of time to bring it up to a solid quality. I started it this way just to get the ball rolling. To get something down on paper and hone it from there. All the facts are correct, but precise dates will be needed. I also plan to expand it.

Try adding the clean-up tag, {{cleanup}}, I think it's what saved this page.

Also last time i checked there was quite a weekend life at uw-platteville, it is becoming less of a "suitcase college". If you dont believe me walk around the city on saturday and sunday, dosent seem to lifeless to

Added the infobox with limited information and no logos. Any help would be great in locating properly acquired logos (Keep copyright in mind though)--Master son 02:09, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

I am removing the rather "descriptive" portion of the "Campus" section. Anyone seeing this may get a poor impression of what UW-Platteville life is about and we should keep these articles professionally written. --Master son 02:09, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Land's End Lost section is moved into "History" I don't see it as too prevalent to get its own section. --Master son 02:09, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Also added info on the Ullsvik Center project (sourced to UWP website) --Master son 02:09, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

The page has been refined a bit more to follow the template proposal discussed in The Universities WikiProject and the clean-up tag has been removed since the information required as a part of an article for a university has been added. More information will be required to further expand the article. The Wisconsin Wikiproject task list has been updated to move this article form Clean-up to Expand. Expand carefully. --Master son 00:40, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

Furthermore, anyone who knows of any key alumni (note that I forgot that the Chancellor is one - we should add him.) please add them. Also, any professional photographs that have not been copyrighted - especially of student culture and the key facilities - would also be appreciated. I have added the photo request template to this article. --Master son 00:40, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

In the section "The Night the Students Rioted", I find the statement "Many of the town folk kept rifles next to their front doors for years after the incident in case another student riot might take place" dubious. Please cite references. -- Celestial Realm 07:11, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

The two paragraphs comprising the section "How an elementary school divided a community" was unsourced with no references cited. -- Celestial Realm 07:29, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

"The Night the Students Rioted" paragraph edited to removed dubious content and POV issue. -- Celestial Realm 21:37, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

According to Michael Viney, Assistant Chancellor for Student Affairs -- and a student at UW-P during the Vietnam era -- the riot as described in this article did not happen. More specifically, windows were not broken and a fire truck was not overturned. Ranneya 20:26, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

I noticed that Ullsvik Hall renovation was mentioned in the Organizations section. It seems like is out of place and should put in the Campus portion or have a new section devoted to renovations. Bart (talk) 05:30, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

Distance Education

The source for Distance Education sections is vague - if anyone can help out finding a more specific source that would be much appreciated. master sonT - C 00:07, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

The logo is outdated http://www.uwplatt.edu/cogs/images/searchlogo.gif . I don't have sufficient privileges to upload images yet, so if someone else could, please change it. Gunshotbycomputa (talk) 22:31, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Close to B-class, but not yet. Needs sources and proper article format (per WP:UNIV) master sonT - C 11:55, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
