I don't know where the name came from, but this is utter nonsense! Zip Codes were not around in the 19th century
Although the name "Uwchland" is the result of a spelling error made by the Postal Service in the 19th century when establishing the 19480 ZIP code, it has yet to be corrected. Much of the area surrounding the post office though is using the Chester Springs zip code of 19425.
So either someone comes up with a citation for this, or it remains removed. --WiseWoman (talk) 19:38, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
