Dubbing?[edit]

I understand that the movies were dubbed in English, but can you turn off the dubbing and watch them in the original Japanese? Peaceman 00:26, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the product page indicates that the DVDs are in the standard dub+sub format. DenisMoskowitz 17:57, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cast Listings[edit]

Wouldn't it be better and/or simpler to list the common cast first, rather than separately for each movie? The separate cast listings made sense when the movies had their own pages, but on a single page, it just makes it seem over-long.--David Breakey 04:58, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sci-fi Channel[edit]

The article says that Beautiful Dreamer "This movie also aired only once on the Sci-Fi Channel's late night anime lineup in the U.S.", but I'm not sure if this is referring to Ani-Monday or their earlier foray into anime in the mid-to-late '90s. I definitely saw Beautiful Dreamer in the late '90s showings, but that was on Saturday mornings (except for a special promotional week of anime on weeknights) and I believe the movie aired multiple times. --UnneededAplomb (talk) 05:25, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It definitely aired on Sci-Fi, but I'm pretty sure I watched it on a Saturday morning. I'm going to edit the article to reflect that it was on Sci-Fi, but remove the time and that it aired once, as there is no citation for that. Madlobster (talk) 07:12, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

merge?[edit]

i've added a mergeto tag to the main series article. Are the any convincing reasons to keep the movies split from the main article? It's mostly unreferenced, and could easily be reduced to a couple of paragraphs for the main article. I've no plan to do the merge anytime soon, so I'm happy to discuss it. Dandy Sephy (talk) 04:01, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but this article is not watched by too many people, and this discussion (actually, a notification, not a discussion) was missed somehow. I'm extremely confident that sources can be found for all the movies and many of the OVAs. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe 00:04, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
My concern wasn't sources as such (on the contrary the Animage one was very useful), there just didn't seem to be any real need or benefit to a separate article. That said, I won't argue, if you think it can be improved, so be it. Dandy Sephy (talk) 00:50, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Given that, for many series, the films have separate articles and all of these are crammed into one article along with the OVAs, I don't think it's reasonable to try to reduce the content even further to one or two paragraphs. I think that does these films an injustice. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe 01:12, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Assuming this article isn't merged. Would anyone mind if I added more to the description of the movies? They're kind of bare at the moment. Any objections?Nickeldorf (talk) 10:03, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia under Movie Three[edit]

I hope no one minds. But I removed the trivia section under the Movie 3 description. Mostly because it wasn't an error on the part of the film makers. Lum's mother speaks her lines in Japanese numerous times throughout the series. Like in episode 57 Is a Husband & Wife Quarrel Survival of the Fittest? and episode 128 Man or Bird? Gokakenran, Champion of Justice! She only speaks her lines in jibberish when talking to humans, when talking with other aliens she speaks her lines in Japanese.Nickeldorf (talk) 06:58, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
