"who had not released any new music since 2006" remove this part since it is repetitive due to the succeeding sentence
""Us Against the World" was Milian's" → "The song marked Milian's"
✗Not done, calling the song by its name breaks up the use of "the song" and "it".
You should not be stating the title twice in the same para though --Kyle Peake (talk) 12:21, 1 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Could say the same for "It" or "The song". Stylistic choices. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ≫ Lil-Unique1-{ Talk }-
Lil-unique1 You are supposed to repeat the song and it within the same para, but it is commonly done to not repeat the song's title, especially when there is no variation with other song titles. --Kyle Peake (talk) 06:17, 2 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
"and the song" → "and single" to specify that it was from 2006
"Shortly after the release of So Amazin'," → "Shortly after the release of the album,"
"in promotion of the single" → "in promotion of the song"
Add some info on the synopsis of the video?
"for the videos for her singles "Whatever U Want" (2004) and "Say I" (2006)" → "on the videos for her singles "Whatever U Want" and "Say I" in 2004 and 2006, respectively"
"the song produced by Jason Nevins was also" → "the song, produced by Jason Nevins, was"
Done, have left link to Jason Nevins as its the first time he has been mentioned in the lead.
"her forth album Dream in Colour (later titled Elope) which would go" → " her fourth studio album Dream in Colour, later titled Elope, which ultimately went"
"following more record label changes" → "after more record label changes for Milian"
I am aware of that; this comment is in reference to the point where you have MySpace wikilinked to itself, which is a redirect to Myspace that needs fixing. --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:37, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
"a new joint venture between social network" → "a joint venture between social networking service"
"produced dance mix was also released" → "produced remix of the song was later released"
"Jason Nevins presents Ultra Dance 10 on January 6, 2009" → "Jason Nevins presents Ultra Dance 10, released on January 6, 2009"
"This remix was given a standalone release on January 20, 2009 via iTunes" → "The remix was released to iTunes in the United States on January 6, 2009 by Radio Killa Records, MySpace and Interscope" with the wikilink
"In the first part of 2009, Milian confirmed" → "In early 2009, Milian confirmed"
The next sentence is repeating the first sentence a bit; merge the mixing info with that instead, writing something like "while the song was mixed by..."
"Milian conceived the concept" → "Milian conceived the concept for the song"
"romantic tragedy," → "romantic tragedy"
"to reflect the same themes" → "for reflecting the same themes"
✗Not done, wrong grammar. The song's concept was to reflect the same themes not for reflecting the same theme. That doesn't make sense.≫ Lil-Unique1-{ Talk }-
"In another interview with Ninefourfour" → "In another interview with 944 Magazine"
"because it "the lyrics speak" → "because "the lyrics speak"
"adding that" → "adding that:"
"ballad it’s very exciting" → "ballad it's very exciting"
"It’s about passion" → "It's about passion"
"Similarly, she told" → "Similarly, Milian told"
"that people would know that "there" → "that the world would know: "There"
✗Not done, that capitalisation doesn't make sense to me. You don't capitalise phrases/quotes mid sentence? ≫ Lil-Unique1-{ Talk }-
Lil-unique1 The source starts the sentence with there though and the quotation here makes out it doesn't; I have fixed this for you. --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:41, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Make sure all of these are archived by using the tool
I did run the tool it errored. I'll try again. ≫ Lil-Unique1-{ Talk }- 19:02, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Refs 14 and 17 are too high on Copyvio score; fix this
Done as best I can. It's worth bearing in mind that the Copyvio tool is a guide and it is imperfect as it counts the name of the title several times which inflates the score on the MTV reference. Where text has been quoted, it has been appropriately sourced/referenced. ≫ Lil-Unique1-{ Talk }- 19:18, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I understand you, but quoting should be reduced somewhat to avoid copyright --Kyle Peake (talk) 05:45, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I've reduced as much as I can. Where an article being cited is short, it is inevitable that copyvio scores are high however, like I said, when the song name is stripped out this is an acceptable level of copyvio score which is just a guide. Quotes (even in academic writing) use the exact wording and/or paraphrasing with relevant attribution. ≫ Lil-Unique1-{ Talk }- 15:47, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Some of the refs are missing the publisher/work/website parameter
I'm aware of Overlink just didn't think it would be an issue but I'll remove. ≫ Lil-Unique1-{ Talk }- 15:47, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Fix MOS:CAPS issues with ref 10
Remove wikilink on Christina Milian for ref 11 and target Interscope to Interscope Records
Ref 12 says I need flash player to play the archived clip; is the info really verified, as I hope this is good faith?
Yes. The magazine was produced in print as well. Unfortunately there isn't much I can do about how the article archives. This post from RWD Magazine offers some proof that featured Milian on the cover and in the magazine. Someone posted the article on some music forums too which can be found online (pulse music board). ≫ Lil-Unique1-{ Talk }- 19:02, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
MOS:CAPS issues with ref 16 and are you sure that source is reliable?
Yep. Video static is an industry related source and has been used MANY times in GA reviews ≫ Lil-Unique1-{ Talk }- 19:02, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Cite Rap-Up as work/website for ref 18 and fix MOS:CAPS issues
Lil-unique1 Mostly looks good, have done some copyediting but I'm sure the single release sentence should come directly after writing/production --Kyle Peake (talk) 11:30, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Lil-unique1 Sorry about the late response, your mention did not show up in my notifications for some reason and I had no idea until I was looking through WP that you did it. I mentioned about the release info needing ordering; basically, the stuff about it being a ballad/love anthem in the lead belongs after writing about its single release date and format. --Kyle Peake (talk) 06:27, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
