Virtually all detailed ancient accounts of the Tencteri and Usipetes are together. Either article alone will remain stubs unless we merge these. --Aeranis 01:50, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Actually this is only true of the section of the history of both tribes in the time of Caesar. As an editor of these articles I would go so far as say that Wikipedia has been forcing itself to emphasize that period beyond others by artificially merging the two tribes. Splitting will allow the difference to become more apparent. By the way this was first discussed at Tencteri and Usipetes, and it was pointed out that Usipi already has its own article, but this is normally simply considered a later period spelling.
