The article does not meet the good article criteria, nor is it close, and I am thus failing the nomination. Major issues include:

Large parts of the article are entirely unreferenced.
The history section has a strong emphasis on settlement history and nearly no coverage of more recent history.
The demographics section is more a data dumb than a properly crafted demographics summary.
Parts of the article contain very short sections, some just a single sentence.
For instance in the economy section, proper use of paragraphs is not used.
From "Important cities and towns" (which need renaming) and down in the article, it is simply an array of splatted lists. These sections should instead consist of prose which explains the content, rather than bullet lists and tables with little context.
Never create a "Miscellaneous" section.
Similarly, articles should not contain massive links to fiction. This is an encyclopedia and should cover the real world, not fictional worlds.
