Merging issues[edit]

If the article Vanjiar is merged with Cauvery river, then many other tributaries or branch rivers must be merged with this article. It isn't fair to merge a named branch river with the main river, because after separating from Cauvery, Vanjiar as a separate river moves for more than 50 km.--Wiki tamil 100 (talk) 14:39, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If it's both a distributary of the Kaveri and a tributary of the Arasalar River, choosing to merge into either of those seems problematic. How do you choose which one? wbm1058 (talk) 02:20, 24 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
