Potential updating needed — network may have closed[edit]

This certainly isn't good news for VasalloVision — after losing its inaugural affiliate, KAZH, to a relaunch as an English-language independent (KUBE-TV) just a year into its existence, nearly all of its affiliate base — KQCK/KQDK-CA, KYVV-TV, and KMCC, all owned by entities associated with Barbara Laurence, a partner in the network — has jumped ship to MundoFox. MundoFox does not list a Louisville affiliate, which would rule out the 34.2 subchannel of WBKI-TV — but if TV listings are to be believed, that subchannel is now showing a mix of infomercials, MundoFox, and HNN News (a Spanish-language national newscast produced by Independent News Network that I believe was seen on most, if not all, VasalloVision affiliates). Even if MundoFox isn't shown on WBKI 34.2 and the guide is out-of-date, if portions of the schedule earmarked for VasalloVision are instead placing MundoFox fare on the lineup, that may indicate that VasalloVision has followed the path of América CV Network and ceased operation on account of the entire affiliate base (which in America CV's case included its own O&Os — but then, VasalloVision itself was shown primarily on at-least-quasi-O&Os anyway) switching to MundoFox. Obviously some updates are needed — but no source has come out and said that VasalloVision is gone, so… --WCQuidditch 22:49, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
