Can see no reason why this article should not be included in Wikipedia. The series of films in which the town extremely is well known. On the other hand, the town being fictional limits the amount that can be said about it.--Jrm2007 (talk) 21:34, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Did you read Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) (especially the section on Defining notability for fiction), which was mentioned in the prod? It would be helpful if you can explain how the topic meets that requirement.--Fabrictramp (talk) 22:15, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Very well. Perhaps it should be added instead to the article about the movie, The Wolfman.--Jrm2007 (talk) 05:43, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if it's notable enough for its own Wikipedia entry or not, but I do know it's pointless and useless to have a redirect to a page that never explains or even mentions Visaria. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.47.102.146 (talk) 05:53, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect[edit]

This article has been redirected to The Wolf Man after a discussion at AfD. - JodyB talk 14:20, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is Bellerophon5685 a complete idiot, or just a half-wit?[edit]

Bellerophon5685 has decided to redirect from the CORRECTLY-titled "Visaria" (as featured on signposts within Universal's 1940s horror movies) to "Vasaria" because he/she 'thinks' that the latter is the correct spelling. How about finding out first, rather than just guessing?! Wholly Minty (talk) 18:48, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Pointless insults aside, the problem is that the signposts are the only place that “Visaria” seems to be used - from the way that the cast pronounce it in film after film, it seems that “Vasaria” was what was intended. Does anyone have access to a script, which might provide confirmation? Until then, it may be best to adopt the course taken by this web-page, and have it as “‘Vasaria (sometimes Visaria)”. Vasaria/Visaria not mentioned in The Wolf Man[edit]

The Wolf Man is set in Llanwelly, Wales. Vasaria/Visaria is the European setting for four of the later Universal Frankenstein movies (one of which was Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man). -- Naaman Brown (talk) 13:56, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
