1992 medal discussion[edit]

Venezuela has only three gold medals. The total in the page counts an exhibition medal in the Barcelona 1992 games that are never counted in medal totals. Same with the bronze they obtained in those games, there should be a total of 9 displayed. As shown in Wikipedia's own "Demonstration Sport" page: "Traditionally, the medals awarded for the demonstration events followed the same design as the Olympic medals, but of a smaller size. @Kingsif: Hi! I hope it's not too overdue, but I have translated the History section from the Spanish version. The only issue is that many of its paragraphs need citations to be verified, but given their nature they should be easily found. I can give a hand on this regard later on. Best regards!
