Can anyone confirm that Venture used to have a store at Woodcroft is South Australia? I have a feeling this may have been put here due to the fact that there used to be a Harris Scarfe store at Woodcroft and the rapid growth in Harris Scarfe stores was due to the demise of Venture, however as I recall the store at Woodcroft was built as part of a new shopping centre development. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Standspace (talk • contribs) 06:02, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Charlie's Restaurant in Hobart Venture Store[edit]

Does anyone remember the restaurant in the Venture store in the Cat and Fiddle Arcade in Hobart? Wasn't it called Charlie"s? It would be good if someone could document the Charlie's Restaurant and included it in the article. There seems to be very little information online about it. I remember it had red and gold wallpaper and you would line up with trays to be served from the bain-maries. Going to either Charlie's, the Napoli restaurant in Fitzgerald, the Robin's Nest Cafe in Connor's or the Coles Cafeteria was a big part of any shopping trip into town when we were young, so it should be mentioned in the article.
