Note about the creator[edit]

Just for everyone's knowledge, even though I'm credited as the first editor of this article, I was not the one who wrote it entirely. Derek asked on twitter who could create a wikipedia article for Veritasium, and he then published a google document with the text that you now can read in this article, he is the one who wrote it. Request to remove link[edit]

I request the removal of the link in the "See also" section to Thunderf00t (Phil Mason). Phil Mason's Videos on You Tube (Thunderf00t) are (in my opinion) focussing on the dispute between "creationists" and "more scientific oriented people" as well as "bashing" public figures e.g. by showing inconsistencies of their statements. This is not/barely related to Veritasiums approach. I don't delete it myself because I am from Germany and don't know exactly how this dispute is going in the anglican public. However, though agreeing it's a vital matter to be discussed Wikipedia should stay out of such debates and stay neutral - as most scientists do. Request to remove Hello Internet reference[edit]

"Though Veritasium and Derek are often referenced in the work of fellow educational video producer Brady Haran, the spelling and pronunciation of both the name of the channel and the name of Derek remain a challenge for Brady to get right." - This is obviously false. Brady has no problem in pronouncing Derek's name or "Veritasium", just mispronunces it for the audience. I request this to be removed --nico Jones (talk) 00:25, 5 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
