The previous version implies that over 10,000 civilians were killed during the war. In fact, the Guardian article refers to 14,000 "rid" in Višegrad, which apparently account for both expelled and killed. The CCPR and IWPR reports report mass killings (apparently, several) in the ranges of 60-200 people; while the events were terrible, the sources should be cited meticiously for such sensitive events. It isn't much (just a very brief paragraph), but the Mazowiecki reports does cite a survivor/witness of the Visegrad massacre in his reports on human rights violations in the former Yugoslavia.

Aftermath

HanzoHattori, in your edit of "Aftermath" you refer to "his sentence". As the wording of your edit stands I'd take this to refer to Lukic, who hasn't been tried yet, so there's no judgment at the ICTY site and obviously no sentence. You put a link to the meaning of "sentence" but then you use it to mean "judgment" instead.

Lukic's indictment charges him with approximately 150 deaths. If in fact you're referring to a judgment against one of the Vasiljevic brothers it would be useful to provide a link to the judgment at the ICTY website. I'm absolutely certain that any judgment there won't refer to Lukic being responsible for thousands of deaths since there isn't any judgment on the charges against Lukic yet and the charges only refer to about 150 deaths. What any judgment may say is that the "Milan Lukic group" were responsible for those thousands of deaths. You need to rephrase and substantiate your edit. --Opbeith 10:50, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

HanzoHattori, please excuse my error above - Lukic was charged along with Mitar Vasiljevic and his own brother cousin Sredoje Lukic. I have created a discussion page at Milan Lukic article where I have recorded my questioning of the facts as stated. I haven't had time to check if there is anything said in the Vasiljevic judgment that might be relevant. I've tried to amend the "Category" item referring to people convicted by the ICTY where Lukic is included but don't think that worked. If you want to you can follow up details of the Lukic indictment and the Vasiljevic judgment at http://www.un.org/icty/cases-e/index-e.htm. There is apparently an effort being made to have the Lukic case referred to the Bosnian courts for hearing. --Opbeith 01:00, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
