Nice job so far! I like that you added some pictures. In your first section, your first two sentences start with "It". I think that if you changed those to clarify what the "it" is that you're talking about, the paragraph will be more clear. Good start! Your structure is good, and you can tell you know where you plan on going. You have a good amount of 'further reading' sources (are those the same as references in general?) If not I'd add more references. All the information you currently have is relevant to your subject. I would love to see a lot more information on the tombs and catacombs, and even the paintings you mention. I feel more information on those would make it more of an art historical paper, rather than just historical. Talk about how different ones along the road connect and are similar, and how they are different. Maybe how the people that traveled along the route influenced the paintings and such. Can't wait for the final!
