I recall having seen this article months ago - I just checked, it still exists in other languages - and it surprised me to discover that someone deleted it and I am taking the initiative to re-write it. This is a highly accomplished artist, who performed at the best venues around the world, and his contributions in popularizing the viola are considerable and important. I see no reason why information about him would not be made available to the public. Thanks,,
