Badly needs citation[edit]

This badly needs citation, because there was a prominent 18th century Spanish architect of the same name. I've already removed at least one statement that clearly referred to the other Vicente Acero; I suspect that may also be true of some of what remains in the article. So far, I don't even see a citation that makes it clear that there was a Vicente Acero with these dates. - Jmabel | Talk 06:01, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Copied from my user talk page:

You raised the question mark over the Vicente Acero article earlier in the month; I'm with you on this one: I've done a web search, a google books and scholar search, and I can't find any trace of an earlier Vicente Acero either. Looking through the history of the article, it started off with a minor glitch (it was an honest attempt at writing a piece on the real Vicente Acero, but placed him in the 16th century due to a typo...) but was then vandalised several times in 2008, leading to the current nonsense. I'd advise we get it deleted. Hchc2009 (talk) 06:13, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

So I will nominate for deletion. - Jmabel | Talk 07:54, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, rather than nominate for deletion, I'm simply going to juggle material so that this references the "real" Vicente Acero. - Jmabel | Talk 07:57, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
