Remix as single[edit]

I'm pretty sure the remix of the song was not released as a single. It was released to iTunes as a bonus track EP with other bonus tracks from the I Am... Sasha Fierce album. The CD single did not include the remix and the release history section in this article does not provide any indication that anything other than Beyoncé's solo version was released. And according to this article from Billboard.biz, after the Sasha Fierce bonus track EP was released to iTunes, most radio stations were playing the original version, which to me seems like that was the version released to radio. Are there any sources that show the Gaga remix was released as a single? I don't see any in this article stating such, and therefore I don't think Gaga's single chronology should not be present in the infobox. –Chase (talk) 23:10, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think the remix was only for the music video. --Lil-unique1 (talk) 23:12, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's what I think too. There's no indication that this was released to radio or as a physical single. –Chase (talk) 23:16, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It was defo not played on radio as the full remix is around 5 mins. It was more of a promotional thing to feature Gaga on the single. Though it was released only as part of the UK Remix Bundle as thus available as a digital album track download but not as a single. --Lil-unique1 (talk) 23:32, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Then shouldn't Gaga's single chronology be removed from the infobox? I will remove it in a few days if no one objects. –Chase (talk) 21:04, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Support, if the song was commericially released, meaning there was an official single released for purchase which did not feature GAGA on the A-side, then regardless of the video she's not part of the single chronology. --Lil-unique1 (talk) 01:45, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Three days with no objection. I will remove this from Gaga's single chronology here, and at the Bad Romance/Telephone (song) articles. Please discuss before adding back. –Chase (talk) 19:56, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Artistic Video Style[edit]

The style of the video looks like a rough early demo. As the video starts, the scenes seem polished, and CGI is in full effect (with the camera's on the men's head), but as the video continues, the blue masks on the men are not edited out, and reflection from the green screen is seen on Beyonce's skin. Later in the video, Beyonce is seen seducing a hooded man (presumably, the hood should have been edited out and replaced with the aforementioned cameras). Beyonce lifts her heel to step on the man's thigh; her foot appears to hover in space as what would typically be considered a result of poor editing. Also, later in the video, the green backdrop is left unkeyed and the firing effects seem like quick renderings used for comping. Being the official release of the video suggests that this style is intentional; but given that the video was leaked ahead of schedule, it could also have originally been an unfinished demo.

You are adding your self-thoughts on the topic, WITHOUT posting reliable sources. If you want YOUR information back, get a reliale source, clean your POVs about "a rough early demo" and "some may argue that the video is intentionally stylized this way, while others see it as an unfinished product", and it will be added, otherwise the page will be re-protected if you insist in add it. Lady Gaga Chronology[edit]

Shouldn't there be a Gaga Chronology singles section under Beyonce's where the info box is? She is featured on the single after all..calvin999 (talk) 19:26, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No she is not. She is featured on a remix and the music video - not the single. Adabow (talk · contribs) 06:13, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Which got released as the single. At no point was the original released. Still FEATURES her vocals and songwriting and still FEATURES herself in the video. calvin999 (talk) 21:02, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The original was released, and the remix was not released as the main track/A-side. Consensus is in favour of the status quo. Adabow (talk · contribs) 21:22, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable?[edit]

Is this link reliable? My love is love (talk) 20:14, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, not really but ask Legolas (Mr. Know it all). Lol. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 05:28, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Lol Jivesh. Why won't a link from The Arizona Republic, a reputable Phoenix newspaper, be not reliable? I cannot see any discrepancy in their reports. — Legolas (talk2me) 06:31, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea how many times I have ignored that source? I always thought that it was like a blog. Lol. My bad. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 08:53, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Imagine how much Beyonce sources you missed. Lol, damn damn damn :P — Legolas (talk2me) 08:55, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
