Many information is missing, proposed structure[edit]
This article is very short and no mention is made to many subjects, like how it evolve to IP systems. Maybe the following structure could be better:
- A brief resume of the audio technology which evolved to video intercommunication systems.
- A brief resume of the previous video technology, which made possible to build the video intercommunication systems.
- A history of the first video intercommunication systems,
- which technology was used,
- how they were wired and installed,
- pros and contras
- Which technological advances allowed to supersede the contras, leading to the next step in the evolution of this kind of devices.
- Which standards were followed by the industry.
- How each technology interfaces with it's precedent.
repeat for each technological step, until the last available one, maybe the IP connectivity, is covered. Then finishing with the future trends.
