Tones[edit]

Need a more RS. The two I've found contradict each other on the assignment of d and đ; I put in the one that makes phonetic sense, since that's less likely to have been a 'correction' by s.o. who d n understand the system. Found another w reversed z, at the Sao Mai education fund, but then found a photo of a braille board at a Vietnamese school that has plain z (Unesco 1990 is the same). Which means Latin Z cannot be written. — kwami (talk) 08:11, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have consulted the sources used by Duxbury Systems. Vietnam changed its braille system around 2009-2010. The letters d and z follow French usage, đ is now dots 2346. - User:Silver dot 24 Februry 2023 — Preceding undated comment added 20:23, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
