The word Vilnia is more often referred to the city's name then to the tiny river. I propose to make this article a redirect and to set back Vilnia (disambiguation)--Czalex 2 July 2005 16:08 (UTC)

Well, a disambiguation page does not assume that all the different meanings of the term are equally often referred to. Replacing a disambiguation page with a redirect to one of the meaning only would make finding the other meaning of the term difficult, so it could be confusing. Why would we want to do this ? Old Lithuanian[edit]

"The name of Vilnius in the old Lithuanian language" - is there a source for that?

The articles Vilnia River and Vilnius are not even sure that Vilnius was named after Vilnia. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 05:50, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
