Proposed title change[edit]

Would "visual comedy" be a more appropriate title? "Visual gag" implies that the article will only be about visual gags, not about visual comedy as a whole. Visual comedy consists of visual gags, so it seems to me like it would be natural to rename the article so that it can cover a slightly wider subject. Esn 00:13, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, yes...and no. You've got it in one--depends on what the article encompasses. On the face of it, it would seem that there is much more material for "visual comedy" than "visual gag", so the question is, if this is moved to the wider "visual comedy", is there enough material for sight gag, or does a redirect suffice? I would suggest that if there is to be a move, then the redirect should go to a specific section of the new article, which should be titled 'visual gag' or 'sight gag', otherwise you're going to mess up the internal links (annoys me when people don't at least 'try' to check 'what links here'...Quill 01:11, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

404 error on citation link[edit]

In a reference to a visual gag in L'Arroseur Arrosé, a PDF is cited here. However, the link is broken and results in a 404 error. I was casually browsing and noticed the error, but I do not have time to fix it myself, so I thought I'd report it here. Thanks. Cody.berdinis (talk) 04:07, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've added an archive-url to a copy at the Wayback Machine, so the link works again. --82.136.210.153 (talk) 16:01, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
