Merge proposal[edit]

Apparently both this article and Vitthal Ramji Shinde deal with the same person. I suggest they be merged into this one because I have done copyediting, etc. on this. Unfortunately I don't know which spelling is correct. Zariane (talk) 23:57, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. This is obviously the correct thing to do. Having two articles about the same person is pointless. Somebody could waste hours copyediting the other article, which would be a pity. If the spelling turns out to be wrong then renaming the article is easy enough. --DanielRigal (talk) 01:58, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The sources show that [[Vitthal Ramji Shinde] is the correct spelling. I'll do the merge in the next day or two. Phil Bridger (talk) 07:58, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: page moved per request. There was non-trivial article history at the target page, so I swapped histories, preserving records for the sake of GFDL. - GTBacchus(talk) 01:25, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vithal Ramaji ShindeVitthal Ramji Shinde — Sources indicate the spelling with two t's is correct. Currently the article is on "one tee", while "two tees" is a redirect - these should be switched D O N D E groovily Talk to me 03:49, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Note: Fixed confusing multimove request since this is a request for moving just one page. Note that a redirect will be created automatically at the old title so there's no reason to include the old redirect page in the move request. Jafeluv (talk) 12:04, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
