Persecuted[edit]

I flagged the term "persecuted" in the phrase "he was persecuted by the Roman Inquisition and processed twice". I thought of just changing the word to "prosecuted", but I'm not at all certain that that was what was intended. There is an argument that he was being "persecuted" by Fra Michele Ghislieri and Cardinal Gian Pietro Carafa, but the sentence is so brief and unsupported by a reference, that I can't be sure. My perplexity is made worse by the phrase "processed twice", the meaning of which is completely unclear, and also unreferenced. Such a bold statement requires more detail and precision. as well as some references.
