I believe that the subject of this article is notable, even if the article currently doesn't do a good job of explaining why. I shall attempt to find a reference or two in support of this notability when I've finished writing this comment. (In the mean time, I note as at least indicative that Vlastimil Brodský appears on Wikipedia:WikiProject Czech Republic's Wanted articles list, which suggests that they also consider him article-worthy.) --Paul A (talk) 00:56, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not Notable?! Are you kidding?[edit]

OK, I just made a starter article for others to improve on, I as a Czech can say that he is one of the most accomplished actors in the country, and yes I started the article because I found it on the "requested" page.--Dominik92 (talk) 01:22, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, but none of that was in the article that was tagged for deletion. Too skimpy a "starter article" leads to swift deletion by people unfamiliar with the subject matter. No insult to the Czech theater was intended. --Orange Mike | Talk 01:55, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
