This probably isn't notable[edit]

I don't see any other root exploit (for any kernel) getting it's own article. Is this really a topic that someone will one day write a real article about? --Gronky (talk) 17:58, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Needs better definition=[edit]

Surely this would work better to have a page with a list of known exploits for operating systems, each exploit with a brief description of the problem, the solution, and a small table of status, versions affected, date fixed etc. 87.115.85.158 (talk) 23:23, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, it was more a question of not knowing how to put the "it has been suggested that this page be merged / renamed" on a page and/or doing the rename. I'm unfortunately a little swamped atm, I shall remember this page though and if it remains as is when I have a moment I shall go through the wiki documentation on how to do all this 87.115.85.158 (talk) 22:45, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well that was easier than I was expecting. For the moment I will leave the page as-is due to aforementioned time constraints, when I have a moment I shall go and learn how to move stuff around :-) 87.115.85.158 (talk) 23:06, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Have left the edit history here as it feels irrelevant to the subject matter of the moved article. Intelmole (talk) 21:14, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
