Cleanup/Re-write needed[edit]

This article is in definite need of improvement because it reads like a personal essay and does not comply with Wikipedia's encyclopedic tone at all. The sub-section Exceptional volleyers for example is full of unreferenced statements, peacock language and weasel words such as "generally considered", "well-known". By whom? I made a start by removing 'the phrase 'who had a fine volley himself from "In his 1979 autobiography, Jack Kramer, who had a fine volley himself, devoted a page to the best tennis strokes he had ever seen", and I suggest someone with more time and/or the original author needs to improve this article in several places 31.124.45.250 (talk) 16:55, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
