Sleepify Album[edit]

The Sleepify album that Vulpeck released in 2014 could use some context - there were several stories written about it in some prominent publications like Rolling Stone and Billboard. I'd include something along these lines:

-The album received coverage in Rolling Stone, Spin, NPR's "On The Media", Businessweek, Stereogum, The Guardian UK, BBC, and several other media outlets. They noted it was a unique marketing stunt that raised funds while costing only the streaming service money. Several writers compared it to John Cage's 4'33 (the most notable "silent" piece of music).

-Spotify made Vulfpeck remove the album from the service in May '14 after it picked up steam on Social Media (generating an estimated $25,000 in revenue for the band). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.59.135.181 (talk) 20:11, 29 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox image[edit]

The current image in the infobox although a good image, is a non-free image. I am not 100% sure, but I am pretty confident that its use in the article violates WP:NFCI item #1 and WP:NFC#UUI item #1. I plan to replace it with this image: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Vulfpeck-at-rockwood-october-4-2013.jpg. This was the only decent (encyclopedic) and licensed image I could find. Couldn't find any encyclopedic free or licensed images showing all four band members, so I figure this image can do for now. Any inputs or suggestions? Discography Page - or individual pages for each of the albums[edit]

Frequent collaborators[edit]

Hi @CaffeinAddict:, I removed the free youtube video mention, I thought it wasn't significant enough (or unusual for this band). About listing more people in a more structured list-manner: the article names many names where individuals contribute. Some musicians are left out, true (mostly individual session contributors, and guests in shows). It would be appropriate to name them in album pages, when/if there are such pages. Member List[edit]

Hi all, I added the standard Wikipedia member listing (with instruments and dates) in the Members section. I also listed Cory Wong and Joey Dosik as primary members of the band. Joey is mentioned in the og:description meta of the Vulfpeck website (view page source) and the two of them have been on every release since Darwin Derby (November 15, 2018). If someone has an additional statement by Jack or one the others confirming their membership, they're welcome to cite it.

The Ben S, I reverted the band member changes, Dosik and Wong are collaborators, not members. Changing the band members list needs a reliable source to the band itself, such as interviews with the founding band members, or listing of new members on official band web pages. He calls the 7-piece the "touring band". That means touring members. In the article, I prefer "touring partners" because of the general connotations of "touring members" and this band's even distribution of royalties to musicians. Bammesk (talk) 01:23, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Vulf[edit]

No, their music is now listed under two artist profiles: Vulfpeck and Vulf. Vulf represents Vulf Records, their label. Under the Vulf artist name, you'll also find other music from their label from the Fearless Flyers and Vulfmon. Vulfpeck is still just Vulfpeck Marcostev88 (talk) 21:22, 28 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
