Red links should not be over used[edit]

Over used red links are annoying. They are also the first step to creating false positive links. I do not see a good likelihood either of the red links here are likely to be created as articles and so do not think they are useful. John Pack Lambert (talk) 23:30, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I understand your dislike of red links--I wish Wikipedia used a different color for this links and typos. A prep-school that operated for more than fifty years is likely to have an article at some point. Wikipedia has determined that any high school is worthy of an article provided there are secondary sources—my quick Google search indicates that is not going to be an issue. The newspaper had the highest circulation Virginia for decades and merged to become the biggest newspaper in the state for more than sixty ears. It will eventually have either an article or a redirect. I would add the latter today, but have to update the Virginia Pilot's history first as it skips its early history and the merger.
