Bill UnruhWilliam George Unruh – 00:59, 8 October 2011 (UTC) Title is Bill Unruh, but article is about William George Unruh, and all references are to W. G. Unruh. I got here from Unruh effect, effect discovered by William George Unruh. On Unruh effect page he is also wrongly called Bill, hope it will change there too if tile here is changed.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.253.178.75 (talkcontribs)

  • I agree that "Bill Unruh" is not common but "W. G. Unruh" seems the most common including in the author's own works. —  AjaxSmack  02:38, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Who wrote that?[edit]

I am surprised that someone corrected my original text into:

"He has helped to clarify the meaning of nonlocality in a quantum context, in particular that quantum nonlocality does not follow from Bell's theorem"

First, the statement that QM is "local" i.e. quantum nonlocality DOES NOT follow from Bell's theorem is arguably wrong, and defended in internet by only a few (3) people (Unruh, Joy Christian and Robert B. Griffiths, to be exact).

Second, if someone actually has watched the lecture given by Unruh, he will see that Unruh does not clarify anything, he is mumbling some arguments that beat about the bush, and did not answer any of the questions at the end of his lecture, but avoided them all. What kind of clarification is this?? Danko Georgiev (talk) 04:27, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
