Yes, the two articles are on the same person and should be merged. The Waldo Diaz-Balart article is the better of the two articles. Callelinea (talk) 17:54, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There doesn't seem to be much in Waldo Díaz-Balart Gutiérrez that isn't already in this article, so I'm going to redirect it here. Jfire (talk) 20:51, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notice: This article lacks WP:A to establish WP:BIO

In my opinion, this article either lacks sufficient Attribution that it satisfies the Notability criteria for Biographies, or it may violate the Conflict of interest guideline, or perhaps it is a Copyright violation.

Wikipedia articles must be based on reliable sources to verify any claims of notability. Even though the lack of reliable source attribution in an article is not grounds for deletion in itself, an article with absolutely no sources (or only external links to unreliable ones) suggests to some editors that multiple reliable sources may not, in fact, exist.

Although I am considering tagging this article for deletion according to the Deletion policy, I am nonetheless willing to assist User:Callelinea (talk · contribs), and other recent contributors to this article, to make constructive improvements to it ... I do not have time to examine this article in depth at the moment, and it may improve over time, in which case this warning was premature.

Please respond on this Discussion page, instead of on my Talk page, in order to avoid fragmenting the conversation. —72.75.72.63 (talk) 02:24, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • The article now has more references and is also in the Spanish Wikipedia and as I have seen in past AFD nominiations if an article is considered notable in another language Wikipedia it is notable in English Wikipedia, but besides that, with the added newspaper refeences should be more then enough to prove notability. I think that Waldo Diaz-Balart is also a sculptor and architect.[edit]

I believe I remember at one point Waldo Diaz-Balart was promoting the combination of monumental Sculpture and Architecture under the name Edifiscultura. RichardBond (talk) 00:06, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
