Hazardous Waste?[edit]

The article Hierarchy of Hazard Control has a graphic that indicates munitions were "disposed of" in Walker Lake at some time, and remain dangerous. Perhaps that should be added to this article? I'm at work and really have neither the time nor interest to do the research, but perhaps someone else does...

Walker Lake Paiutes[edit]

Prior to colonization, the Northern Paiute people were nomadic, so basically everywhere they stayed was seasonal. That does not take away from the significance of this location. It was returned to year after year and continues to be the site of annual celebrations to this day. This information is clearly significant per MOS:LEAD; it does not go too in-depth but mentions a major reason why the lake is so notable. Khazik (talk) 19:08, 31 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
