Trustees responsible for both town cemeteries[edit]

At the town meeting November 20th, 1901, the town adopted a by-law by which the powers and duties of the Trustees of Walnut Hills Cemetery 
shall also embrace and pertain to the old Town Burying Ground on Walnut street.
