So sah ich einmal sogar Marcel Reich-Ranicki wortlos schluckend von dannen ziehen. ⇔ So I saw once even Marcel Reich-Ranicki move mute, gulping away
I have no clue about what the first word is, any help would be appreciated.Gunnahtank (talk) 07:45, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
WG is: Wohngemeinschaft, i. e. a shared apartment for a couple of sudents, the most popular kind of student housing in Germany in the 1970s and 1980s. Since the kitchen often was the only shared room, the WG-Küche is a legendary place of endless discussions in the post-1968 years. I tried to make some more sense of your translation which, frankly, seemed partly incomprehensible to me, but alas, I am not a native speaker of English, so there is probably a lot to improve.--AndreasPraefcke (talk) 21:05, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
