Merger proposal[edit]

I see that there is a separate article on Walthamstow Reservoirs which does not mention the wetlands project. If the articles are about the same site, I think it would probably be better to merge them. Any views on this? Dudley Miles (talk) 19:57, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, and having read both articles, I propose that Walthamstow Reservoirs be merged into Walthamstow Wetlands. I think that the content in the former article can easily be absorbed into, and explained in the wider context of the latter, and the Wetlands article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Walthamstow Reservoirs will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. I agree as I stated in my previous post. Dudley Miles (talk) 19:21, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Agree, as per Grunners. -Kez (talk) 20:42, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure the whole of Walthamstow Reservoirs are included in the Wetlands? Ctually (5 minutes later) I just checked and yes all 10 reservoirs are part of the Wetlands, even if not all is accessible to the public. ProfDEH (talk) 05:44, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
checkY Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 11:53, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The merger might be complete in that there is only the one article, but the text really needs to be properly merged. Two info boxes for example can't be anything other than a temporary fix. ProfDEH (talk) 17:52, 18 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
