Seeing no opposition, and seeing that all of the individual properties (except the fraternity house) have individual articles, I merged the article about the Ward Wellington Ward MPS into this one. Now all that's needed to complete the merger is a Commons category for Ward Wellington Ward -- to link to from this article. Following up, there is now a Commons category for Buildings by Ward Wellington Ward. It's linked from the article, but it's only partially populated. Strathmore homes?[edit]

The article refers to "Strathmore homes" that Ward designed. I've never heard of Strathmore homes, so the meaning of this was obscure to me. Clarification is needed. Does this mean homes in the Strathmore neighborhood of Syracuse? The sublist of homes in the Strathmore neighborhood was in my first edit of this article back in 2007. I think i was just preparing those together to paste over into the Strathmore neighborhood article. It was duplicative to the main list, which should probably be organized chronologically. If indicate neighborhoods in the current list here in the WaWeWa article, even without adding coordinates, it starts to get a bit cumbersome. I can see perhaps a role for having a separate architecture of Ward Wellington Ward list-article after all, to be able to display locations in a linked Google/LiveSearch/Bing map. However I don't know if it would be consistent with wikipedia treatment for other architects and I am not embarking on that. It is certainly okay to have a list of all the known works of WaWeWa in this article. Spitting out a list-article is just an option for later. If taken, I would have it include other WaWeWa work beyond what is covered in the Syracuse-only WaWeWa MPS. doncram (talk) 23:56, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In this edit, the following was added to the article: "Ward Wellington Ward's grandson Peter Forgan survives and lives in Washington State". Hey, that sentence probably doesn't work well in an encyclopedia article and might well be deleted by another editor. But, thanks for chiming in. Do you happen to have any photos or architectural drawings or other Ward Wellington Ward related materials? It would be great if you could photograph and share any such, or otherwise share.
